Access to this website is permitted on a temporarily basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend services without any notice. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website. We will not be liable for any reason that this Website is unavailable at any time.

It is easy to make a purchase. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Payment may be made as follows:
Credit/Debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Laser. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Your payment details are handled securely by SagePay and we do not see your credit/debit card details. By cheque made payable to O Briens Lighting Ltd. Your order will be not dispatched until the cheque is cleared.
The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers? prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed. From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it by a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving at through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions ore only valid for the specified period.
Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and despatch the item. We will aim to do this the same day for all orders in our shop Mon-Sat (excl Bank Holidays). If you are ordering from outside Ireland and Northern Ireland, please telephone us on 00 353 66 7142387 first to discuss your order.
All orders over the value of €200.00 or more plus VAT are sent to Ireland and Northern Ireland free. Orders of less than €200.00 will incur a €12.50 delivery charge plus V A T. The correct carriage charge will be calculated at checkout.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the Ireland or the European Union, 21% VAT is added. The correct VAT will be calculated at checkout.
For 100% security we use Sagepay to process your credit/debit card details. After placing your order you will be taken to their website to enter your card details. We do not hold these details nor at any time do we see them. This gives you complete confidence that you are purchasing from a totally secure website.
To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
O'Briens Lighting Ltd guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products are supplied with a no quibble guarantee. Notification of any goods received faulty or incorrect must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to O'Brien Lighting Ltd within 7 days of receipt. Arrangements for the collection of faulty or incorrect goods will be made by O'Briens Lighting Ltd . An order may be cancelled up to 7 days from the day after date of receipt. Prior notification must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to O'Briens Lighting Ltd. We will then contact you for your credit card details and refund your credit card accordingly. If you are unhappy with any of our products or service please contact us in writing by email, fax or post. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and treated with the utmost confidentiality. Unsuitable items can only be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been used or installed. They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey. The cost of returning unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer. The above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will refund the contract monies to the customer within 5 working days thereafter.
