We process your order right away. Stock items will be despatched the same day providing the order is received before 1.00 p.m. You will be advised of delivery within 3 working days of placing the order. If not in stock in, items will be ordered from our suppliers and delivered to you within 3 to 10 working days. Our usual hours are Monday - Saturday 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Once the goods are despatched you will be notified via e-mail and in most cases give our couriers tracking number to follow the progress of your order.
We advise you book a qualified electrician to fit the lights once the goods have been received and not prior to this. We cannot be held responsible for any charges from electricians if goods arrive later than expected.
We will email you when your order has been dispatched and provide an expected delivery date and delivery service that will be used. Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please check your item before signing. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery then please sign for the parcel as 'Unchecked'. Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims you make thereafter. Please note you have 7 working days from receiving the goods to report any unwanted items (unused and in original packaging) and 48 hours from receiving the goods to report any damages. We therefore advise all items are checked immediately after receiving delivery. Claims for unwanted or damaged goods cannot be accepted outside this period.
Notification of any goods received faulty or incorrect must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to O'Brien's Lighting Ltd within 7 days of receipt. Arrangements for the collection of faulty or incorrect goods will be made by O'Brien's Lighting. An order may be canceled up to 7 days from the the day after date of receipt. Prior to notification must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to O'Brien's Lighting Ltd. We will then contact you for your credit card details and refund your credit card accordingly.
If you are unhappy with any of our products or services please contact us in writing by email, fax or post. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and treated with utmost confidentiality. Unsuitable items can only be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been used or installed and the wire of the light hasn't been cut. They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey. The cost of returning the unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer. The above do not effect your statutory rights as a customer.
Upon receipt of the goods, we will refund the contract monies to the customer within 5 working days thereafter.
